Shawn Hodges Photography Studio had a wonderful Grand Opening on August 13th, 2010! Thank you to everyone that attended! 

Once again, I am honored to have been chosen to capture the wedding day of Cindy and Scott! They were married on July 3, 2010 in a gorgeous outside ceremony. They were surrounded by lots of loving family and friends. Everything was perfect! I enjoyed being a part of it :) Thank you, to both of you for choosing me.

Hannah and I had a great time working together! This is one of my fav shots from our session!  I love the color and pink shoes! We went to a location I have been eyeballing for a long time and got some great stuff :) Then we ended up at her home getting some shots with the sunset and her sweet lil puppies!

I have been on vacation with my family for the passed week! Tomorrow is really the official day of being in the office and getting caught up. I have been playing catch up this weekend but tomorrow is the official back to work day! We had a wonderful time on our family trip!  Now back to album design, senior 2K11 marketing, editing my weddings and preparring for the BIG grand opening AUGUST 13th, back to school, fall portraits, and Christmas! ;)

I have not taken the time to update my blog in awhile! We have been working hard to get our new studio ready! We finally have some prints hung up! I have so many that I love choosing just a few was a very hard decision! They have now gotten the top of the building painted and we are in the process of getting our sign designed so we can get it hung up soon! We are planning a grand opening for August! Stay tuned for updates concerning the big event! You will not want to miss it! For now the studio is by appointment only! I am so VERY excited to announce that I have officially signed a lease on the perfect building in the heart of historical, downtown Henderson, Texas! It has been in the works since late last summer and it is finally official! I am so blessed to be successful in something that I love! Thank you to all of my loyal clients that have made this dream come true!

I met Ms. Haylee for a session with a really cool car that her Grand-Dad was sweet enough to drive over to us :) It was a pretty afternoon that turned cold and windy! So, after the car shoot we opted to continue our super cool 2K10 senior session tomorrow! Stay tuned for some more great images!

I am so honored to be chosen to be the official photographer for the Rusk County Youth Project Show again this year! Last year was my first time to be a part and I LOVED it! I am so excited to spend the week out there with the kids again!
